Flexible silicone sleeve 10x18mm for LED strips ( 5 meters)
Need a flexible LED neon but can't find the right color? No problem! Now, thanks to our flexible silicone sleeve, you can turn any LED strip into flexible LED neon.
The 10x18mm flexible silicone sle eve allows you to integrate any 8 or 10mm wide IP20 LED strip, turning it into flexible LED neon. The sleeve is made of co-extruded silicone with opal coating. High quality, non-cracking and non-yellowing, it is also suitable for outdoor use thanks to its IP65 rating.
Mounting the 10x18mm flexible silicone profile
The flexible silicone sleeve has a cord throughout its interior that allows for quick and easy mounting of the LED strip: simply tie one end of the cord firmly to the beginning of the strip, and gently pull the cord through the other end until the LED strip is completely installed throughout its interior.
The sleeve is supplied in 5 meter lengths, and can easily be cut to length as required. It is important to remember that the cut will depend on the predetermined cutting distance of the chosen LED strip.
The 10x18m silicone sleeve for LED strip is designed to be folded sideways, as the LED strip is integrated upright, on the side. Therefore, this sleeve does not allow folds at the base (the solder joints of the LED strip could break). This cover is perfect for creating corporeal letters, signs, drawings and all kinds of shapes. The light emission is frontal.

The sleeve on the right corresponds to the 18x10 sleeve and the one on the left to 16x16, depending on the way we have to curve the neon , we choose one or the other , When we curve vertically we will use 10x18 , since the PCB of the strip will be able to bend without problems.
If the project needs to bend horizontally we will use 16x16 because the PCB will be able to follow the curvature required by the project.
It is important to remember that to achieve a uniform light should be used strips of 120 led meter in monochrome and 72 led meter or higher for RGB.

| P: Question: | Good morning, we need to make indirect lighting for road signage, in several sections, about 50 meters in total and our query lies in how to seal the joints / cuts between the silicone sleeves to prevent leaks / moisture and maintain the IP68. At the same time I would appreciate if you could recommend a 9.6w or higher, 2700k, 24v LED strip for this cover. | R: Answer: | It is not possible to make 50mts linear LED strips without repeaters or additional power supplies. 24v LED strips cannot exceed 10m linear. The B1552 strip is quite versatile. The sleeves only have start and end caps for mounting with silicone. |
