P: Question: | Hello good morning, I would need 2-3 m of this model of strip I have seen in the rolls of 5m SMD5630, I do not think I would give me problem in cutting and then splice the connector to the current (it is to insert into aluminum trunking profile plasterboard ceiling to 2.40m in domestic housing in a specific area of the living room) What would I need apart? My idea is to buy a dimmable switch, and apart what you recommend me for the final installation ...: diffuser cover to cover leds in trunking? power supply? connectors ... etc... Thanks |

R: Answer: | This model allows cutting every 5cm (by the cutting area). The strip is 15W/mt for 2.4mt you will need a 12Vdc power supply higher than 36W. R: Answer: | All LED strips are dimmable. It has about 1619 lumens per meter, about 107lm/w. The ratio per square meter is based on LUX and depends on height and other photometric factors. |

R: Answer: | This model of strip is 15w/m, for 7 meters of strip you would need a power supply of at least 105w, our closest model above is 120W. If you need a controller to regulate the intensity of the strip, it must support the power of the strip, in this case 105W. Note: We do not recommend more than 5 linear meters in 12v strips, and 10 linear meters in 24v strips, due to voltage drop loss. |
