Switching 24V power supply for LED lighting up to 720W
Transformer with 24V output up to 720W and 30A, with adjustable output voltage +/-10% to compensate the voltage drop between the power supply and the consumption point, allowing a more remote power supply installation. The 720W power supply has overload and overvoltage protection, with ventilated metal case for proper cooling and heat dissipation.
It incorporates a fan for cooling, so it is not recommended for use in very quiet places, as it could generate annoying noises.
Applications of the 24V 720W power supply:
The power supply allows powering large groups of LED strips, modules, neon and all those low voltage luminaires at 24VDC, as long as it does not exceed the maximum power of the supply.
In spite of the high load that the power supply supports, we do not recommend to make large longitudinal runs of LED strips in series, since by nature of the product, they can suffer voltage drop. The purpose of the 720W power supply is the installation of parallel circuits.

Hello, In this F.A. all the +24V outputs can be joined together. It is because I have 6 fuses, where on one side I want all the watts, and for the outputs I put the fuses of 5+5+5+5+5+5+10 Amps. Thank you. Best regards, Celso Martin. |

| R: Answer: | In theory, power supply outputs with the same characteristics can be linked, just as if they were a battery. In practice it is better to use all the power from the same source or to divide the powers separately. The power supplies to be connected in parallel must be identical, with output voltages tolerance between sources less than 100mV, and take into account voltage drops in cables. If a source is short-circuited, the whole system will collapse and should be protected by a Schottky diode system. Leakage currents must also be taken into account, as they add up and increase the electrical risk. In high powers we advise to divide circuits. |
