LED Tube T8 60cm 9W High Efficiency 140LM/W
T8 LED Tube T8 9W 60cm high efficiency glass 140 LM/W
It replaces conventional 60cm / 18W fluorescent tubes.
The T8 LED tube, equipped with high brightness SMD 2835 chip and high light transmittance (more than 90%) glass and plastic coating, allows uniform light distribution.
- Wide AC input range from 175V to 265V
- High power factor up to 0.5
- Wide opening angle (330º)
- Glare-free opal coating
- Short-circuit and overheat protection
- Including starter jumper
- Diameter Ø26mm
Equivalences of T8 tube 60cm:
- T8 60cm LED tube T8 60cm LED 9W warm white 3000K is equivalent to T8 60cm fluorescent 18W/830
- LED Tube T8 60cm LED 9W neutral white 4000K equals T8 60cm fluorescent 18W/840 - 18W/845
- LED Tube T8 60cm LED 9W cool white 6500K equals T8 60cm fluorescent 18W/860 - 18W/865

Installation in Ferromagnetic ballasts:
Step 1: Turn off the light at the main switchboard and verify that no electric current is coming.
Step 2: Take out the old tube and then the starter.
Step 3: Put the new LED starter bridge (included with each tube).
Step 4: Remove the capacitor or capacitor (to avoid overvoltage).
Step 5: Install the new LED tube.
Installation on Electronic ballasts:
Step 1: Turn off the light at the main electrical panel and verify that no electric current is coming.
Step 2: Remove the old tube (in this case there is no starter, as it is incorporated inside the electronic ballast).
Step 3: Disconnect the cables that enter the electronic ballast (no need to remove it, just disconnect it electrically).
Step 4: Choose one of the 2 tube holders to connect its 2 wires directly to the mains.
Step 5: We recommend marking the lamp holder where the connection has been made to facilitate the installation of the LED tube.
- If the installation contains a capacitor bank, please consult your specialized technician.
T8 LED tube applications:
- General lighting, direct replacement of conventional 60cm fluorescent tubes.
- Perfect for illuminating closed parking lots, offices, stores, commercial galleries, kitchens, etc.
- Thanks to its angle, it is ideal for placement on walls.

Questions
P: Question: | The connection to the pipe is PHASE and NEUTRAL at the same end or the PHASE goes on one side and the Neutral on the other? |
---|
R: Answer: | You can see on the website that the T8 tubes are connected directly to 220vac network by only one side, marked as input L and N. |
---|
P: Question: |
Good morning, Would it be possible to obtain the data sheet with the light spectrum? Thank you very much |
---|
R: Answer: | It is being updated on the web at (Datasheet) or you can request the test report for the desired color temperature at comercial@barcelonaled.com. |
---|
P: Question: | Hello, why does the data sheet show 140lm/W and 99lm/W at the same time? |
---|
R: Answer: | Currently there are two references on the web series 3 (BC) and series 5 (BF,BN), it is the series 5 that has 140lm/W performance. |

P: Question: | Can I replace a L18W/865 Osram from the kitchen with one of these tubes? I think that the current fluorescent holder does not have a starter. The current fluorescent is 59cm and this tube is 60cm, is it nomenclature or I have to look for another led tube? |
---|
R: Answer: | If you do not have a starter, your installation system is probably an electronic ballast. It must be removed to use LED tubes. The led tubes go directly to 220v only on one side of the tube. |

P: Question: |
Hello, I have a fluorescent screen to which I put two led tubes and only disconnected the ballast and the old starter. I understand that I should continue without the ballast and only installing a starter for each tube ? Thank you. |
---|
R: Answer: | LED tubes do not need a ballast. If it is a ferromagnetic installation, we will only install the starter that is included in each tube. The installation in electronic ballasts does not need a starter, since it is incorporated inside. |
---|
P: Question: |
These tubes can be used in old screens, i.e. can I change this tube for one of the old ones in my own screen? |
---|
R: Answer: | Installation in ferromagnetic ballasts: Step 1: Turn off the light from the main electrical panel and check that no electric current is coming. Step 2: Remove the old tube and then the starter. Step 3: Put the new LED starter bridge (included with each tube). Step 4: Remove the capacitor or condenser (to avoid overvoltage) Step 5: Install the new LED tube. Installation in electronic ballasts: Step 1: Turn off the light from the main electrical panel and check that no electric current is coming. Step 2: Take out the old tube (in this case there is no starter, as it is incorporated inside the electronic ballast). Step 3: Disconnect the cables that enter the electronic ballast (no need to take it out, just disconnect electrically). Step 4: Choose one of the 2 tube holders to connect its 2 cables directly to the mains. Step 5: We recommend marking the lamp holder where the connection has been made to facilitate the installation of the LED tube. Barcelona LED: Marc| 10/01/2020 |
