Adapter for E27 LED bulb with PIR motion sensor

The adapter for E27 bulb with built-in PIR motion sensor allows to efficiently manage the lighting of sporadic passage areas, turning on when motion is detected, and turning off when leaving the detection area, after the programmed time has elapsed.

The infrared PIR motion sensor allows to distinguish between day and night depending on the sensitivity that is configured to the sensor. If the LUX roulette is set to day mode, the sensor will operate and activate the circuit both day and night. If, on the other hand, it is set to night mode, the sensor will only activate the current flow during the night.

Mounting and configuration of the E27 bulb adapter with motion sensor

The assembly is very simple and does not require installation, work or wiring. Simply screw the adapter into the existing E27 socket and then connect the LED bulb. As always, it is necessary to disconnect the power supply when installing or manipulating the adapter, in order to avoid accidents or electric shocks.

Technical features of the E27 PIR motion sensor

The sensor can be used both day and night, depending on how the LUX roulette is set. It is designed to detect motion at 360 degrees, at a maximum distance of 6 meters and a height between 2 and 3.5 meters. Optimum operation is obtained with ambient temperatures around 24ºC.

The temporal programming of the sensor, by means of the TIME roulette, allows configuring the device to activate the electrical circuit from 10 seconds to 5 minutes maximum. The sensitivity of the sensor allows setting the ambient brightness from 10 to 2000 LUX.

We recommend not to cover the sensor or install it near objects that block the infrared detection, as well as in areas where sudden temperature changes may occur: air conditioners, heaters, stoves, fireplaces, drafty areas, etc. The E27 LED bulb adapter with PIR motion sensor is designed for indoor use (IP20).

Questions

P: Question: Can be placed inside a transparent glass
R: Answer: PIR sensors work by measuring the infrared radiation emitted by materials. When the measurement varies, the signal is activated. If there is an obstacle such as glass, it may cause detection problems.
