Infrared motion detector for corners
The PIR motion sensor is installed in any indoor or outdoor corner under cover, with IP44 degree of protection. It is recommended to be installed at a height of 1.8m-2.5m. Capable of sensing motion by infrared sensor and with built-in twilight sensor to detect night and day.
Orientable, easy to install and use, with wide use for both individuals and professionals. The SP04B is a corner infrared motion detector that detects motion in a maximum length of 12 meters and at an angle of 270 degrees. It can be installed indoors and outdoors under cover.
One of the great features of this sensor is that in addition to incorporating the infrared PIR sensor, it is able to identify day and night light with the twilight sensor, having a built-in dimmer from <3 to 2,000 LUX, allowing significant energy savings and using the energy of the luminaires more effectively.
Thanks to this, the sensor will detect the presence of people and turn on the lights automatically. Once it detects that there is no one in its range of action, it will turn off the lights, in a time adjustable from 10 seconds to 7 minutes.
Motion detector
With a preset time of approximately 10 seconds to 7 minutes, the motion detector will turn off again if no presence is detected.
You can adjust from the switch-off time to the switch-on sensitivity, allowing you to reduce the maximum detection distance to 12 meters.
If you regulate the "LUX" value up to "SUN" it will work during the day and night, and in the case of "MOON" the sensor will turn on when the luminosity is less than 3lux.
Corner sensor installation.
- ✔ Disconnect the power supply.
- ✔ Loosen the cover screws to place in corner.
- ✔ Lay the power and charging cables according to the diagram below.
- ✔ Fix the sensor to the wall with the four screws provided.
Can be adjusted to illuminate only at night or all the time, suiting the needs of each room. 270-degree detection angle. Avoid pointing the detector at highly reflective objects such as mirrors, or near heat sources.
Operating time
How long should the sensor remain on? The operating time of the device is adjustable with the time controller from 10s to 7min. If the sensor detects movement again the operating time is reset.
Twilight sensor
Do you only want to light up at night? With the sensor you can decide whether the luminaires are switched on during the day or at night by adjusting the ambient light from 3lux to 2000lux. Avoid reflections and obstacles on the sensor. If you set the value to "SUN" it will work during the day and night.
SENSITIVITY
Adjusts the sensitivity of the sensor allowing to reduce the distance from the set maximum of 12 meters in length by an angle of 270 degrees.
