IR ON/OFF short distance sensor
Short distance on/off sensor
The SP29A short distance sensor turns on and off with a simple hand movement. It is a short distance IR sensor with a compact size. The IR sensor is a highly sensitive infrared motion detector with a detection range of Max 5cm.
Its switching on or off is controlled by hand movements. When you move your hands towards the IR sensor, it detects the movement and turns on the light. Then the light will turn off until the IR sensor detects another hand movement.
How does the IR sensor work?
The IR sensor is a proximity sensor. When it detects presence, it will activate or deactivate the circuit, and vice versa. That is, it maintains the function until it detects the new signal. Example: if, with the light off, we pass our hand over the detection area of the sensor, it will turn on the light and keep it on until we pass our hand again and turn off the light.
IR Switch Sensor Applications
The IR Switch Sensor is a perfect device to place in areas where automatic switching is required, for example, under furniture in kitchen, in mirrors, in recessed LED strip installations, etc.
