Turn almost any metal object into a touch switch!

By installing the metal touch sensor, turn lights on and off like a switch. This sensor can be attached to any metal surface to turn the surface into a tactile on/off switch for LED lights. It can be used to create amazing on/off switches. You just need to install the touch sensor in-line and attach the metal part of the wire to another metal object. One touch to turn on the lights and one touch to turn off the lights.

Touch sensor features:

  • Voltage: 220-240V/AC.
  • Maximum power: 800W (LED), 200W (HALOGEN).
  • Working temperature: -20~+50℃.
  • Dimensions: 74.6x36mm

Questions

P: Question: I have had to return them because connected to a wall lamp with metal base, once connected it does not work, neither of the 2 units that I bought. The idea was that when touching the metal area of the wall lamp it would switch between ON and OFF but it doesn't. What could be the problem?
R: Answer: Check connections
P: Question: When you install the metal touch sensor with two metal sensors attached to the output cable, it does not work, that is if I put a metal contact on a single bedside table for example if it goes but if in turn I bring another thread from the other bedside table and I join it to the tactile output cable no longer works, light is always on, I do not know if it is because by putting more meters of wire we do q vary the ohmic output resistance or because. Do you know how I could install it to work with two contacts ? Thanks
R: Answer: Normally the cable should not be modified, just connected to a metal support. Depending on the size, shape of the metal and position of the cable, the capacitive sensitivity may vary and give false ignitions or erroneous operation. We recommend a switch for each metal bracket.
P: Question: Can two touch contacts be installed on the same device to switch on from the two bedside tables ?
R: Answer: If the wires connecting Line, Neutral and load to the lamp are the same, there should be no problem, but it cannot be used in switched mode, if one switch turns on, the other cannot turn off (only one at a time).
P: Question: In the datasheet it says that it works at 220V, but in the connection diagram it says that a 12V transformer must be connected before.
How should I connect it to a 12V led source? Before or after the transformer? Thank you very much!
R: Answer: This model only works with 220AC mains power.
P: Question: The metallic touch sensor ON/OFF Reference: SP29C is switch type, is it the same but push button type, that only acts when the metal object is touched?
Thank you very much
R: Answer: We only have a switch type, for each touch to the metallic object the sensor changes ON or OFF state.
P: Question: When will you receive it?
R: Answer: At the end of the website you can see the shipping and delivery conditions. The delivery times are between 48-72h,
