160º square PIR wall-mounted motion sensor
Infrared motion sensor switch
The motion sensor is the perfect element for the correct energy management of lighting installations. It works in installations with 3 wires. Infrared sensor ideal for replacing recessed switches and automating LED lights in those areas where movements are reduced but it is necessary to keep the light on, such as in offices, school classrooms, bathrooms, corridors, stairways, etc.
Mini sensor for indoor use only with IP20 degree of protection. Automatically identifies day and night. Easy to install and widely used. Integrated button that allows a manual change at any time. Infrared sensor with 160º detection up to 8 meters, for devices or accumulation of loads up to 500W. In 200W LED lights.
Main functions of the motion sensor
Motion sensors activate the switch when motion is detected within the selected detection zone and ambient light levels fall below the threshold selected with the LUX function. After the time has elapsed, the switch is deactivated and the lights are switched off.
➢ Can identify day and night: The consumer can adjust the ambient working light. It can work in the day and night when set to the "sun" (maximum) position. Can work in the Can work in the ambient light less than 10LUX when set in the "-" (min) position. As for the As for the setting pattern, please refer to the test pattern.
➢ Time setting: it can be adjusted according to the consumer's desire. The minimum time is 10sec±3sec. The maximum is 7min±2min.
➢ The switch: from left to right is "OFF"、"PIR". "ON"、

Questions
P: Question: |
Hello, I want this product to replace a light switch of a portal. The thing is that in the switch that is installed I have only seen 2 wires (I imagine that the phase and neutral) and this sensor that you have comes with 3, no? You add the ground wire. My question is if I can install it anyway. Thanks |
---|
R: Answer: | It is not a ground wire, the sensor needs 3 connections (Line, Neutral and Load output). The sensor must be connected to Line, Neutral and the output to the light fixture (bulb) that closes the circuit with the neutral. Your normal switch gets the Line and the other wire goes to the bulb that closes the circuit with the neutral. So you will need an "extra" neutral wire to make use of this PIR switch. |

P: Question: |
How can I connect this sensor to an installation with only two wires (Phase and Neutral)? Thank you for your help. Best regards. José Amaral. |

R: Answer: | Installing the surface presence sensor Installation is very simple: ➢ Disconnect the power supply. Loosen the connection at the bottom of the sensor, plug the cable into the connection hole, tighten the screws; Remove the surface sensor, plug the sensor into the junction box. If you want to install it in a junction box, insert the fixing screw into the installation hole. Connect the power supply and test it. |
