Sensor IR Switch 12/36V with motion detection

The SR-2005 switch is an infrared motion detector dimmer with high sensitivity and a maximum detection range of 6 cm. The IR sensor dimmer is designed with compact size, single channel output and is available in constant current version.

The light will turn on and off when you put your hand on or move your hand away from the detection area and a dimming duration will occur when your hand stays in the detection area for a while (cycle dimming: darker-brighter-darker-darker-brighter...). Each cycle of the dimming duration lasts about 16-20 seconds.

Smooth and flicker-free dimming can be achieved with the sensor dimmer. Designed with memory function, this IR dimmer can remember the last brightness when it is turned on again.

How does it work?

The IR Sensor Switch is a proximity switch. When it detects presence, it will activate or deactivate the circuit, and vice versa. That is, it maintains the function until it detects the new signal. Example: if, with the light off, we pass our hand over the detection zone of the sensor, it will turn on the light and keep it on until we pass our hand again and turn off the light.

IR Switch Sensor Applications

The IR Switch Sensor is a perfect device to place in areas where an automatic switch on is required, for example, under furniture in kitchen, in mirrors, in installations of recessed LED strips, so that when we pass our hand the switch is activated and the light turns on, and turns off again when it detects movement.
