2 in 1 PIR motion sensor (surface/embeddable) - 360º - IP20
The 2-in-1 PIR motion sensor is able to capture invisible infrared emissions from any heat source, without emitting any radiation. It enables energy savings of up to 90% through simple and efficient control of LED luminaires.
It can operate both day and night by adjusting the operating light sensitivity. In addition, it allows adjusting the detection distance from 2 to 16 m, according to the size of each environment. It is also possible to program the standby time, i.e. the time in which the luminaire turns off once the sensor stops detecting presence.
Its compact size makes it compatible with most installations and it can be surface or recessed mounted.
It can control up to 1000W in the case of LED luminaires and up to 2000W in the case of traditional luminaires.
INSTALLATION TIPS
Because the detector responds to temperature changes, avoid the following situations:
- Avoid pointing the detector towards objects with highly reflective surfaces, such as mirrors, etc.
- Avoid mounting the detector near heat sources such as heating vents, air conditioning units, lights, etc.
- Avoid pointing the detector toward objects that may move in the wind, such as curtains, tall plants, etc.
Surface installation:
- Move the top cover by turning it counterclockwise.
- Connect the power and load according to the cable connection diagram.
- Fix the lower part in the selected position with the screw.
- Reinstall the top cover on the sensor. You can then connect and test it.
Recessed installation:
- Loosen the screws of the connection terminal and then connect to the connection terminal of the sensor according to the wire connection diagram.
- Bend the metal spring of the sensor upwards until it is in position "I".
- Place the sensor in the installation hole or box in the ceiling, when the spring is released, the sensor will be placed in the installation position.
- Once installation is complete, turn on the power and test it.
